PHILADELPHIA, PA – Three separate shootings occurred in Philadelphia, with two resulting in fatalities, as Saturday night led into early Sunday.
These incidents add to the city’s ongoing concerns about gun violence. The first victim, a 19-year-old man, was shot and killed on the 5000 block of Duffield Street around 10:30 p.m. Saturday.
Shortly thereafter, a woman in her 30s or 40s was found with a critical gunshot wound inside a home on the 500 block of Mountain Street. She was rushed to a local hospital.
A firearm was recovered at the scene.
