Foreign aid bill without border measures moves ahead in US Senate

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – An international security assistance bill earned enough support on Thursday to move forward in the U.S. Senate, after the failure of a similar measure that included border provisions and had been negotiated by a bipartisan group of senators. Voting continued.
