Coastal Flooding in Brick as Police Announce Safe Parking Locations Above Flood Zone

Brick Township, NJ – The Brick Township Police Department has issued a weather advisory warning residents of expected minor coastal flooding coinciding with high tides from Monday through Tuesday night.

Additionally, a mix of snow, sleet, and rain is forecasted for Tuesday morning, potentially affecting commuting conditions.

Residents living in flood-prone areas are urged to take precautionary measures by relocating their vehicles to higher ground. The department has designated several locations for safer parking during the advisory period, including Angela Hibbard Park, Edmund Hibbard Park, Windward Beach Park, Midstreams School, and the overflow parking lot on Rt. 35 across from Brick Beach III.
