Newark, NJ – The Newark Public Safety Department, under the direction of Fritz G. Fragé, is seeking assistance from the public to identify two armed suspects involved in a robbery at World Grease LLC.
On January 31, at around 6:10 a.m., two armed individuals robbed the used cooking oil and recycling company located at 16 Libella Court, making off with $12,000. The suspects, armed and masked, approached an employee as he was opening the business, forced him into an office at gunpoint, and took the money.
The culprits then fled the scene in a blue 4-door Honda, heading south on Libella Court. One suspect was described as wearing black clothing and a ski mask, while the other wore a blue jacket, blue jeans, and a ski mask.
The Newark Police Department is urging anyone with information about the identity of these suspects or the location of the getaway vehicle to come forward to assist in their investigation.
