Teen Stabbed by Mob at Coney Island Subway Station on Valentine’s Day

New York, NY – A 16-year-old male victim was stabbed multiple times at the Stillwell Avenue-Coney Island subway station, according to the New York City Police Department. The incident occurred on Wednesday, February 14, at approximately 3:19 PM, involving eight unknown assailants who approached the teen, initiated a conversation, and then assaulted him with a sharp object.

Following the attack, the assailants fled the subway station on foot in an unspecified direction. Emergency Medical Services promptly responded to the scene, transporting the victim to Maimonides Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.

The attack took place within the jurisdiction of the 60th Precinct and Transit District 34. The police are actively investigating the stabbing as they seek to identify and apprehend the individuals responsible for this violent act.
