Assault and Robbery at Hoyt Street Subway Station Leaves Man Injured

New York, NY – In the early hours of Saturday, January 27, a 31-year-old man was violently attacked and robbed at the Hoyt Street station on the “2, 3” subway line. The incident occurred at approximately 1:21 AM when an unidentified individual assaulted the victim, causing him to fall to the ground.

Following the assault, the attacker stole the victim’s cell phone and fled the scene. The victim was subsequently transported to Cobble Hill Hospital, suffering from a laceration to the back of his head. The assailant is described as a male with a dark complexion, around 20 years of age.
