Bronx Teens Assaulted and Robbed of Sneakers in Daylight Attack

Bronx, NY – Two teenagers were assaulted and robbed of their sneakers in a brazen daylight attack in the Bronx.

On Tuesday, January 9, at around 1:23 PM, two male victims, aged 15 and 16, were near West 174 Street and Davidson Avenue. They were approached by two unidentified males who demanded their sneakers. Following a refusal, a violent confrontation ensued, during which the attackers repeatedly kicked and punched the victims in the head and body, ultimately forcibly taking their sneakers before fleeing on foot to an unknown location.

The assailants left the victims with minor injuries; however, both victims declined medical attention. Authorities are actively searching for the two suspects involved in this crime. The first suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion and slim build, around 5’6″ tall, last seen wearing gray sweatpants, a gray sweatshirt, and a black bubble jacket. The second suspect is also described as having a slim build and dark complexion, approximately 5’6″ tall, last seen dressed in black sweatpants, a black sweatshirt, and a black The North Face jacket.

Law enforcement urges anyone with information about this incident to come forward to help in the identification and capture of the individuals responsible for this violent and unprovoked attack.
