FREEHOLD, NJ — Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago has announced the sentencing of Davidson Jules, a 42-year-old resident of Keansburg, to a significant term in state prison following a 2023 drug investigation. On March 15, Jules was sentenced by Monmouth County Superior Court Judge Christie Bevacqua to 12 years in New Jersey State Prison for first-degree Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, exceeding 5 ounces. Additionally, he received a concurrent sentence of 5 years, with a mandatory 42-month period of parole ineligibility, for second-degree Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
Jules had entered his plea on January 8, acknowledging his involvement in the drug operation. The charges emerged from a collaborative effort by local law enforcement agencies, including the Keansburg Police Department and the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office Bayshore Task Force, initiated in spring 2023.
The operation reached a critical point on May 1, 2023, when search warrants were executed at Jules’ home and a storage unit in Tinton Falls. The searches yielded over 5 ounces of cocaine, more than a half-ounce of heroin, methamphetamines, a firearm, and drug distribution paraphernalia, culminating in Jules’ arrest and subsequent sentencing.
