Baltimore Man Arrested for 2023 Homicide

Baltimore, MD – The Baltimore Police Department has made a significant breakthrough in a homicide case dating back to April 14, 2023, with the arrest of 42-year-old Tyrell Williams. Williams, from East Baltimore, was apprehended on Monday, in connection with the fatal shooting of 25-year-old Craig Hunter in the Eastern District.

Investigations revealed that Williams engaged in a fatal altercation with Hunter on the 2300 block of East Oliver Street, leading to Hunter’s death from gunshot wounds. Following his arrest at a residence on East 25th Street, Williams was charged with first and second-degree murder, assault, and violations related to handgun possession.

This arrest stems from an incident reported in April 14, 2023, when patrol officers were dispatched to East Oliver Street. There, they discovered Hunter with multiple gunshot injuries, and despite immediate medical attention, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
