Police in D.C. Seek Help Identifying Bank Robbery Suspect

Washington, D.C. – In an effort to apprehend a suspect involved in a downtown bank robbery, D.C. Metro Police Department’s Second District detectives are turning to the public for assistance. The robbery occurred on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at a bank located in the 1700 block of K Street, Northwest, shortly after 9:20 a.m.

The suspect, who implied possession of a weapon, approached a teller, demanded money, and then fled with the cash. Surveillance cameras in the vicinity captured images and video of the suspect, which have been released by the police.

Individuals with information are advised not to approach the suspect but to contact the police directly at (202) 727-9099 or to send a tip via text to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
