NEW YORK, NY – A violent altercation on Saturday led to two individuals being critically injured and one succumbing to their injuries. Police were called to the scene at 69-56 Grand Avenue following a 911 distress call about an assault in progress.
Upon their arrival at 6:34 PM, officers found a 41-year-old woman and an unidentified man, both suffering from stab wounds. The victims were rushed to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst, where the woman was later pronounced dead.
The identity of the deceased has not been released, pending family notification. As authorities continue their investigation into the stabbing, the condition of the surviving victim remains critical.
