NEW YORK, NY — Governor Murphy is scheduled to deliver a plenary address at the National Action Network’s Annual Convention. The address will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, at the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel, located on the second floor in the Metropolitan East Room, 811 7th Avenue West 53rd Street, New York.


The National Action Network (NAN) is a not-for-profit civil rights organization founded by Reverend Al Sharpton in New York City in early 1991. It is recognized as one of the leading civil rights organizations in the United States, with chapters throughout the nation. NAN works in the spirit and tradition of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., aiming to promote a modern civil rights agenda that includes the fight for justice, decency, and equal opportunities for all individuals. The organization has been on the forefront of civil rights issues, engaging in advocacy and activist efforts to address social injustices and inequalities .
