Clark Man Charged with DWI After Rollover Accident in Cranford

CRANFORD, NJ – Todd Morgan, a 66-year-old resident of Clark, NJ, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) and Careless Driving following a rollover accident on the morning of April 6, 2024. The incident occurred around 9:15 AM in the 700 block of Walnut Avenue.

Cranford Police, led by Officer Dan Norton, responded to the scene where they discovered a 2018 Jeep Cherokee that had collided with a parked vehicle before rolling over. Morgan, the driver, was transported to Overlook Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. After an investigation, it was determined that Morgan was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.

He was charged with DWI and was released on a summons, with a hearing scheduled in municipal court to address the charges.
