Woman Assaulted with Hockey Stick in East Village

NEW YORK, NY – A 26-year-old woman was assaulted with a hockey stick while walking on East 6th Street in Manhattan’s East Village on Tuesday night. The incident occurred at approximately 10:30 PM in front of 433 East 6th Street. The assailant, described as a male with a dark complexion and thin build, struck the victim in the leg and then fled eastbound on foot. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, light-colored hoodie, light-colored pants, and multi-colored sneakers. Emergency Medical Services treated the victim at the scene. The search for the suspect is ongoing.
