Galloway Township Police Blotter: Here’s What’s Happening

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Galloway Township Police Department has released its weekly summary of police activity for April 7, 2024, through April 13, 2024, documenting a range of incidents and enforcement actions.

During this period, the department handled 608 calls for service. Key statistics include 23 domestic violence incidents, 19 motor vehicle accidents, and one incident of driving while intoxicated. Additionally, officers issued 69 motor vehicle summonses.

There were 24 arrests made over the week, with several notable cases:

  • David S. Rumsey, 71, from Hamilton Township, was arrested on April 12 by Officer Caiden Blanchard and charged with assault on medical personnel.
  • Tyrone D. Gooch 2nd, 21, from Ventnor City, was arrested on April 11 by Sergeant Ronald Gorneau for driving while intoxicated.
  • Deborah R. Baskerville, 38, from Galloway, was taken into custody on April 10 by Officer Jeffrey Payne and charged with shoplifting.
  • Keith E. Kiminsky, 30, also from Galloway, faced multiple charges including attempted murder and aggravated assault following his arrest on April 7 by Detective Timothy Giberson.
