Pickup Truck Crashes into Hampton Borough Home

Hunterdon County NJ – A Ford pickup truck veered off Charlestown Road and collided with an unoccupied house in Hampton Borough on Friday at 8:40 p.m. Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesperson for the New Jersey State Police, reported that the vehicle lost control, struck a curb, and crashed into the residence at the intersection of Charlestown Road and New Street.

The driver, who suffered minor injuries, was transported to a nearby hospital. The crash inflicted significant structural damage on the home, impacting the walls and the porch roof beam, as confirmed by Hampton Fire Co. Station 13.

In response, firefighters installed temporary struts to stabilize the porch and the interior of the house. Emergency crews cleared the scene by 11:00 p.m.
