Teen Shot Multiple Times Dead In D.C.

WASHINGTON, DC — The D.C. Metro Police Department’s Homicide Branch is conducting an investigation into a fatal shooting of a teenager in Southeast Washington. The incident took place on Wednesday night.

At approximately 10:45 PM on Wednesday, officers from the Seventh District were called to the 2300 block of Ainger Place, Southeast, following reports of gunshots. Upon arrival, they found a male teenager with multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The victim has been identified as 17-year-old Quentin Brown, a resident of Southeast, D.C.

Police are urging anyone with information about this case to contact them at (202) 727-9099 or via text to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. A reward of up to $25,000 is offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for any homicide in the district.
