Washington, D.C. – A 14-year-old from North Brentwood, MD, has been arrested for multiple robberies and thefts following an investigation by the D.C. Metro Police Department’s Third District detectives. The string of crimes began on March 1, leading to charges against the juvenile.
The first incident occurred in the early hours of March 1, when the suspects illegally entered an apartment building on R Street, Northwest, stealing property. This was followed by an armed robbery on March 3 at 3:50 AM on 12th Street, Northwest, where the suspect brandished a handgun, demanding and subsequently taking the victim’s property before fleeing in a white SUV.
Minutes later, another robbery took place on T Street, Northwest. Subsequent crimes on March 3 and 4 involved similar patterns of forced entry and robbery, including another incident on April 6 where the suspects assaulted a victim and stole their belongings.
