Atlantic City, NJ – The Atlantic City Police Department is seeking the public’s help in finding two individuals wanted in connection to separate shooting incidents. Ashan Jackson and Warren Govan are the subjects of ongoing investigations led by the Violent Crimes Unit after incidents in March and April.
Jackson is accused of offenses linked to a shooting on March 13, 2024, where an individual sustained a non-life-threatening injury. Warren Govan, on the other hand, allegedly provided false information to authorities following a similar incident on April 7, 2024.
The Violent Crimes Unit is handling the investigations into both cases and has issued warrants for the arrests of the suspects involved. Jackson, 19, from Galloway, NJ, faces multiple charges including aggravated assault, unlawful weapon possession, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. Meanwhile, Govan, aged 38 and hailing from Philadelphia, PA, is wanted on charges that include unlawful possession of a weapon and hindering apprehension.
The charges laid against both individuals are accusations and do not imply guilt until proven otherwise in a court of law.
