Bensalem, PA – Bensalem Township has issued more than 5,200 warnings to vehicle owners for red light violations within the first month of launching its Automated Red-Light Enforcement program at specific intersections in the area. The enforcement aims to enhance driver safety.
The grace period for these warnings will end on Friday, May 31, 2024, and thereafter, violators at the designated locations will face a $100 fine for failing to stop at red lights. Bensalem Township clarifies that the community bears no cost for the system’s installation, operation, or maintenance, and all related expenses will be covered by violators.
