The arrest followed an incident on Cooper Road where money and checks were reported stolen, leading to the identification of Maynard as the suspect who attempted to cash a forged check at a local bank.
Maynard turned herself in at Troop 3, where she was charged with theft under $1,500 where a victim is over 62, attempted theft under $1,500 where a victim is over 62, and forgery 2nd Degree – all felonies. She was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7 and released on a $6,000 unsecured bond.
