Massachusetts Retirement Trust Wins $25,000 a Year For Life with Lottery Win

NATICK, MA—The Retirement Trust of Natick has successfully claimed a “Lucky for Life” lottery prize just days before the winning ticket was set to expire. The prize, amounting to $25,000 a year for life from the drawing held on May 17, 2023, was claimed on Tuesday, May 14, at the Massachusetts State Lottery headquarters in Dorchester.

Represented by trustee Luke Bean, the trust chose to receive the winnings as a one-time payment of $390,000 before taxes.

The winning Quic Pic ticket, which matched the first five numbers in the drawing, was purchased at J Convenience Store & Laundromat located at 229 N. Main St. in Natick.

For selling the lucky ticket, the store will receive a $5,000 bonus.

Lucky for Life lotto draws take place every night of the week, offering players multiple opportunities to win.
