Fatal Motorcycle Crash Under Investigation in Upper Marlboro

UPPER MARLBORO, MD — A fatal motorcycle accident is currently under investigation by the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit. The incident occurred on Tuesday night in the unincorporated area of Upper Marlboro.

On June 11, just before 9:45 PM, police were called to the intersection of Woodyard Road and Perrywood Road following reports of a crash. Upon arrival, they discovered the motorcyclist deceased in the roadway. The identity of the rider will be released after his family has been notified.

Initial findings suggest that the motorcyclist was traveling north on Woodyard Road when he collided with a car. A second vehicle, traveling south, was also involved in the accident. Neither of the car drivers sustained injuries and both remained at the scene.
