WOODBRIDGE, VA – Police arrested 24-year-old Sharney Angel Stewart following a disturbance at the Elevations One Apartments on Jefferies Road. The incident occurred Monday at 12:55 PM, leading to charges including two counts of assault & battery on a law enforcement officer (LEO).
Responding to a trespassing complaint, officers found that multiple individuals had forcibly entered a vacant apartment. Stewart, who approached the officers requesting access to the same apartment, fled on foot but was quickly detained. During transport, she became agitated, kicked the partition in the police cruiser, and attempted to kick the officers.
No injuries were reported in the confrontation. Stewart, who has no fixed address, was also charged with unlawful entry and obstruction. She is being held without bond, and her court date is pending. Two other individuals were also arrested in connection with the unlawful entry.
