by Breaking Local News Report

CHESTERTOWN, MD — A lifelong Maryland Lottery player from the outskirts of Chestertown in Kent County has claimed a substantial $50,000 prize from a recent Bonus Match 5 drawing. The Eastern Shore winner, a grandfather, used a set of numbers inspired by significant dates and ages related to his four grandchildren to secure the windfall.

Despite previously winning smaller amounts, with his largest prize being $125, this latest win has brought a new level of excitement to his long-standing lottery participation. “It’s fun,” he remarked. “I’ve been doing it all my life.”

The winning ticket was purchased for seven drawings at Suds ‘n’ Soda, located at 1014 Washington Avenue in Chestertown. After checking his tickets on the Lottery mobile app following the June 20 drawing, the winner was surprised to see the significant sum appear on his screen, leading to a moment of disbelief and joy.
