Four Arrested in Armed Robbery of Fireworks Stand in Crofton

Crofton, MD – Four individuals have been arrested in connection with the armed robbery of the Gorilla Fireworks stand on Crain Highway North.

On July 6 at approximately 9:00 p.m., officers responded to the robbery at 1153 Crain Highway North. Three suspects had demanded money from a female employee, with one suspect pointing a gun at her. The suspects took a cash register and fled in a dark BMW driven by a fourth suspect.

A responding officer located the vehicle, and all four occupants were taken into custody. The cash register and a loaded .40 caliber polymer 80 handgun were recovered from inside the car.

Arrested:

  • Mark Dewayne Mason, 23, Bowie, Maryland
  • Isaiah Christopher Mason, 19, Bowie, Maryland
  • Jelani Nassir Bryson, 18, Hyattsville, Maryland
  • Elijah Cravon Ducket, 20, Waldorf, Maryland

The suspects are now facing charges related to the armed robbery.
