Israel Strikes Yemen After Drone Killed One, Injured Eight in Tel Aviv

by Breaking Local News Report

TEL AVIV, ISRAEL – In response to an attack on Tel Aviv last night, Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) fighter jets have launched airstrikes against military targets of the Houthi regime in Yemen.

The focus of the operation was the Al Hudaydah Port area, a response to a series of attacks against Israel over recent months, including a deadly drone strike in central Tel Aviv.

An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), identified as a Simad 3—an Iranian-built system believed to have been launched from Yemen—struck a building in Tel Aviv, resulting in the death of one civilian and injuries to eight others. The Israeli Foreign Ministry has confirmed these details, noting the gravity of the threat posed by such long-range UAVs capable of traveling from Yemen to Israeli territory.

The Israeli government has reiterated its determination to safeguard national security and prevent further attacks, indicating that military and diplomatic efforts are intensifying in response to the ongoing conflict. The memory of the victim has been honored, and wishes for a quick recovery have been extended to the injured.
