Tragic Shooting Claims Life in Southeast D.C.

Washington, D.C. — Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting in Southeast.

On Sunday, at approximately 2:43 p.m., officers responded to the 3200 block of 28th Street, Southeast, following reports of gunshots. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male, Bobby Addison, 44, unconscious and not breathing, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact police at (202) 727-9099 or text the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The D.C. Metro Police Department offers a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this homicide.
