Man Critically Injured in D.C. Shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that occurred in Northeast Washington on Tuesday morning.

The shooting was reported shortly after 10:15 a.m. Officers arrived at the 5200 block of Foote St. and discovered a man who had been shot. The victim was found unconscious and not breathing, and medics transported him to the hospital for treatment.

Police are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact them at (202) 727-9099 or text tips to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and indictment of those responsible.
