Armed Robbery and Stabbing in Manassas

MANASSAS, VA – On Sunday evening, officers responded to a reported armed robbery in the area of Irongate Way and Cub Run Court in Manassas. The incident occurred at approximately 8:15 p.m. when a 32-year-old man confronted an unknown individual for taking his wallet, which led to an altercation.

During the encounter, the suspect stabbed the victim in the upper body with an unknown object before fleeing the area. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Officers, along with a police K-9 unit, conducted a search for the suspect, but he was not located.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male wearing a black sweatshirt and blue basketball-style shorts. The investigation remains ongoing.
