At approximately 1:00 a.m., the malnourished dog, who appeared to have recently given birth, was discovered and is now receiving veterinary care at the Monmouth County SPCA. Authorities have described the suspects as two males and one female, either white or Hispanic, who fled the scene in a mid-2000s red or maroon Toyota Corolla.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Patrolman Michael Ballas at 732-542-4422 or [email protected], or the Monmouth County SPCA Law Division at 732-440-1539 or [email protected].
