Williamsburg Verizon Store Robbed at Gunpoint

NEW YORK — The New York City Police Department is seeking assistance in identifying two individuals involved in a commercial robbery in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, on September 4.

The incident occurred at approximately 12:58 p.m. at a business located at 297 Broadway, within the 90th Precinct.

According to authorities, the two suspects entered the establishment, claimed to have a firearm, and demanded money from a 50-year-old store employee. The individuals took cash, cellphones, and keys before fleeing on foot to a vehicle parked nearby. The vehicle was last seen heading eastbound on South 5th Street.

No injuries were reported following the robbery. The NYPD has released surveillance images of the suspects and is asking anyone with information to come forward.
