NEW YORK — Two third-prize-winning Powerball tickets, each worth $50,000, were sold for the September 9 drawing, the New York Lottery announced. The winning tickets were purchased at the following locations:
- Value Discount and Organics located at 4366 White Plains Road in the Bronx.
- Crosby’s located at 2805 N Main St in Jamestown.
Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. To win the third prize, players must match four of the five numbers drawn from a field of 69, plus the red Power Ball, which is drawn from a separate pool of 26.
