Cumberland Police Serve Multiple Arrest Warrants

Cumberland, MD – On Friday, officers from the Cumberland Police Department served several arrest warrants for different violations.

An arrest warrant was served on Duane Boyd, age 52, from Cumberland, for violations related to a protective order issued on September 13. Boyd is accused of entering the complainant’s property on September 17. He was transported to the Allegany County Detention Center and is awaiting his initial appearance.

Boyd faces charges including violation of a protective order, trespassing on private property, and harassment.

Thomas Deandre Eggleston, age 29, also from Cumberland, was served an arrest warrant for violation of probation. The District Court of Maryland issued the warrant, and Eggleston was subsequently taken to the Allegany County Detention Center, awaiting his initial court appearance.

Eggleston’s charge is a bench warrant for violation of probation for second-degree assault.

Additionally, Scott Tyler Levine, age 37, from Cumberland, was served an arrest warrant for trespassing on posted property. The incident leading to the warrant occurred on August 12 when officers responded to a medical emergency at a residence on Baltimore Avenue. Officers discovered the property was labeled unfit for habitation.
