Paramus police join community for annual ‘Day in the Park’ event

PARAMUS, N.J., Sept. 28 — The Paramus Police Department participated in the annual “Day in the Park” event on Saturday, held by the Keri Anne DeMott Foundation. The day featured a softball game between police officers, community members, and supporters despite rainy weather.

In a Facebook post, the Paramus Police Department expressed pride in their involvement. “Police Officers, supporters and community members played in a fun rainy softball game,” the department shared, highlighting the spirit of the event.

The event took place on Saturday, Sept. 27, and included participation from local organizations, including Paramus Public Schools, Paramus PBA 186, and Rochelle Park CERT. The game was part of a larger effort to bring the community together while honoring the mission of the Keri Anne DeMott Foundation, which focuses on raising awareness about the dangers of impaired driving.
