Brazen Assault in DC Leaves Victim Injured and Suspect on the Run

WASHINGTON, DC – A robbery suspect remains at large following a violent incident on October 8, prompting the Metropolitan Police Department to seek assistance from the public.

At approximately 9:20 p.m., the suspect approached the victim in the 500 block of 13th Street, Northwest. After assaulting the victim and stealing their property, the suspect fled the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Surveillance cameras in the area captured images of the suspect, and video footage is available for viewing.

Anyone who can identify this suspect or has information about the incident is urged to call police at (202) 727-9099 or text their tip to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of those responsible for crimes in the District of Columbia.
