Students Targeted in Bold Shoe Robbery in Southeast DC

Washington, DC – A shocking robbery incident left three students without their shoes in Southeast DC on Tuesday morning.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), officers responded to a call shortly after 9 a.m. regarding the robbery in the 3400 block of 4th St. The students reported to authorities that an unknown individual had stolen their shoes, but fortunately, no injuries were reported.

MPD has described the suspect as last seen wearing a blue Moose Knuckle coat and driving a grey four-door Kia Hatchback with Maryland license plate 5GC2290.
