by Breaking Local News Report

TOMS RIVER, N.J. — Edvin Mejia-Juarez, 32, was booked into the Ocean County jail on Monday after being charged with aggravated assault related to domestic violence and burglary, according to court and detention records.

Mejia-Juarez was arrested on December 9, and is being held without bail.

Jail records indicate the charges include third-degree aggravated assault stemming from a domestic violence incident and burglary, though authorities have not disclosed specific details about the alleged offenses.

U.S. Immigration authorities have also filed a detainer against Mejia-Juarez, under case number tod2512005518. The detainer, issued by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), could signal pending immigration-related matters, though further details remain unclear.
