Teen shot multiple times in Williamsburg; Suspect spotted on security camera

BROOKLYN, NY — A 14-year-old boy was shot multiple times in Williamsburg on Sunday, December 8, authorities said.

The incident occurred at approximately 4:40 p.m. in front of 80 Clymer Street, where an unidentified individual discharged a firearm, striking the victim in the right hip, right arm, and left hand.

The suspect fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction, police said.

Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, where he was listed in stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing as police work to identify and locate the shooter.

The suspect remains at large as police seek leads in the broad daylight shooting of the teenage victim.
