Man stabbed on North Broad Street, police investigation underway

A North Philadelphia stabbing leaves one man injured and detectives searching for answers.

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — A 25-year-old man was hospitalized Friday night after being stabbed on the highway near 4100 North Broad Street, authorities said.

The incident occurred at approximately 7:50 p.m. in the 39th District. The victim sustained a single stab wound to his upper left back and was transported by Medic 24 to Albert Einstein Medical Center. He is reported to be in stable condition.

No scene is currently being held, and police have not made any arrests or recovered any weapons related to the stabbing.

The Northwest Detective Division is actively investigating the case, and additional updates will be provided as new information becomes available.
