Do You Know Her? Newark police seek woman for questioning in February shooting

NEWARK, N.J. — Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a woman wanted for questioning in connection with a shooting investigation, Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda Sr. announced.

Tyteyonna Stamps, 22, of Newark, is being sought for questioning regarding an aggravated assault shooting that occurred on February 13.

Police responded to the 50 block of Whitney Street around 12:37 a.m. after the city’s shot spotter detection system registered multiple gunshots. Officers canvassed the area and recovered five 9mm shell casings in the street.

Anyone with information about Stamps’ whereabouts is urged to contact Newark police.
