NUTLEY, NJ — A 74-year-old woman from Belleville was struck by a vehicle in a crosswalk just after 8:00 a.m. yesterday, according to Nutley Police Director Alphonse Petracco and Chief Thomas Strumolo.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and remains in critical condition. Chief Strumolo noted that the driver failed to observe the pedestrian in the crosswalk.
