PATCHOGUE, N.Y. — A winning TAKE 5 ticket worth $33,223 was sold in Suffolk County for the May 7 evening drawing, the New York Lottery announced Wednesday.
The top-prize ticket was purchased at Country Liquors, located at 1440 Montauk Highway in Patchogue. The winning numbers were selected during the 10:30 p.m. drawing of the TAKE 5 game, which draws numbers twice daily from a field of one through 39.
The prize adds to a growing list of TAKE 5 wins across Long Island, where players continue to claim top-tier rewards in both midday and evening drawings.
The identity of the winner has not been disclosed, and the ticket remains unclaimed as of Thursday. Winners have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.
Retailers that sell jackpot-winning tickets are eligible to receive a bonus commission from the New York Lottery.
