GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, N.J. — Officers from the Gloucester Township Police Department joined law enforcement agencies from across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware at Citizens Bank Park on Thursday for the 2025 Click It or Ticket campaign kickoff.
The event, hosted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety (NJDHTS), marked the beginning of a two-week national seat belt enforcement initiative running from May 19 to June 1.
Sgt. Chris Roznowski and Ptl. John Bonelli represented the department and posed for photos with the Philadelphia Phillies’ mascot, the Phanatic, and Jana Tidwell, Manager of Public & Government Affairs for AAA Mid Atlantic.
The Click It or Ticket campaign focuses on increasing public awareness around seat belt safety, combining outreach with high-visibility enforcement across participating states.
“This event highlights the collaborative efforts of law enforcement across state lines to emphasize the importance of seat belt use,” the department posted on Facebook.
