Wingstop worker slashed while breaking up fight at New York City location

BRONX, N.Y. — The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman wanted in connection with a stabbing at a Wingstop in the Bronx on Friday afternoon.

The incident occurred around 2 p.m. on May 16 at 2161 White Plains Road, inside the 49th Precinct. Police said a 28-year-old female employee was attempting to break up a fight when she was slashed in the stomach by an unidentified woman.

The suspect fled the scene on foot, heading northbound on White Plains Road. Emergency responders transported the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi, where she was listed in stable condition.

The individual being sought is described as a woman with a light complexion. She was last seen wearing a pink sweatsuit and brown slippers.

No arrests have been made, and police have released surveillance images of the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to contact the NYPD.
