EDISON, N.J. – A 21-year-old South Brunswick man has been charged in connection with multiple acts of public lewdness reported on the Middlesex College campus earlier this month, authorities announced.

Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Middlesex College Police Chief Christopher Wertz said Jihad Goines Jr. was arrested on May 19 and charged with three counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual contact and three counts of lewdness, a disorderly persons offense.

On May 9, the Middlesex College Police Department responded to a report of a man performing lewd acts in a campus building lobby. Surveillance video and further investigation revealed two additional incidents involving the same individual on the same day, allegedly occurring in areas near students.
