Retired Baltimore Bus Driver Hits Big Pick 5 Lottery Jackpot

by Breaking Local News Report

BALTIMORE — A retired Baltimore bus driver claimed a $50,000 top prize after purchasing a winning Pick 5 ticket, according to the Maryland Lottery.

The Baltimore resident bought the ticket for both the June 7 midday and evening drawings at the Save More gas station on 4200 Wabash Ave. Without any predetermined numbers, he placed a $1 straight bet using a random selection.

He discovered his win later that day by checking the Maryland Lottery app. Previously, his largest lottery prize was $5,000.

At this time, the winner has not made any plans for how he will use his $50,000 prize.

The Save More gas station will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
