NEWBURGH, NY—A lucky lottery player hit the jackpot in Newburgh with a TAKE 5 ticket worth $36,278.

The New York Lottery announced that the winning ticket from the April 11 evening drawing was purchased at Smokes 4 less, located at 59 North Plank Road.

TAKE 5 numbers are selected from a pool of 1 to 39, with draws televised twice daily at 2:30 PM and 10:30 PM. Winners have up to one year from the drawing date to claim their prize, regardless of the amount.
