Fugitive Task Force Apprehends Suspect in Baltimore Shooting Death

Baltimore, Md.—Police in Baltimore have made an arrest on a homicide that happened on June 12th.

On June 20, at around 5 p.m., members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force and the BPD’s Gun Violence Unit apprehended 29-year-old Tyree Wells of Baltimore.

Detectives believe that Wells shot and killed 25-year-old Jordan Taylor on June 12 in the 1700 block of Ramsay Street.

Wells was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with first-degree murder and additional charges.

Fugitive Task Force Apprehends Suspect in Baltimore Shooting Death

On June 12, at approximately 9:39 a.m., officers responded to the 1700 block of Ramsay Street to investigate a reported shooting. Upon arrival, they found 25-year-old Jordan Taylor lying in the rear yard with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. Medics pronounced Taylor deceased at the scene.
