QUEENS, N.Y. — A 17-year-old girl was sexually assaulted aboard a northbound ‘7’ train near the Junction Boulevard station on Wednesday morning, police said.
The incident occurred around 8:20 a.m. as the train approached the station. According to authorities, an unidentified individual grabbed the girl’s buttocks and repeatedly pushed his body against her before fleeing to an unknown location.

The victim reported the assault to police, and no injuries were sustained as a result of the attack, officials said. The suspect fled before law enforcement arrived, and investigators are working to identify him.
Police have released surveillance camera photos of the suspect.
Police have urged anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues.
